Poland has stated that Ukraine will join NATO
Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz said that Ukraine's accession to NATO would take place one day.
Gazeta Prawna reports.
He added Ukraine was doing everything possible for this.
"The issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO has been on the agenda since 1998. One day it will happen. Ukraine is doing everything possible to achieve the necessary goals," Przydacz said.
He also recalled that in 2016, the European Union adopted a document containing five principles of relations with Russia, and "electoral" "dialogue is just one of them." Among these principles, he mentioned the support and monitoring of human rights in Russia, as well as support for the Minsk agreements.
"What have we seen lately? Military escalation from Moscow near the Ukrainian borders, aggressive actions in Crimea, intervention in Belarus, information attacks in Poland. Is this their positive atmosphere for creating a high-level dialogue?" Przydacz emphasized.
