Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih: toll rises to 17 injured, four civilians dead

In Kryvyi Rih, after the Russian attack on the evening of April 2, the number of wounded increased to 17, and four more civilians died.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the head of the city's Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported this.
Eleven wounded are in hospitals, including one child. Also, one person is in serious condition.

Doctors are providing all necessary assistance to the wounded.

As a result of the strike, the following were damaged:
- 9 high-rise buildings,
- a post office,
- a gas station,
- an administrative building,
- a car and a garage.
An aid headquarters has been established on-site, offering building materials and facilitating applications for material assistance from the city.

A fire broke out at the scene, damaging apartment buildings. Due to damage to power lines, 1,900 consumers were left without electricity.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the shelling. He emphasized that such attacks can only be stopped by putting enough pressure on Russia to force it to abandon the war.
"And this depends on partners – America, Europe, and the rest of the world. The only thing separating us from a complete and unconditional cessation of strikes is the lack of Russia's consent to stop the war," he explained.

The head of state also noted that on April 1, the Russian invaders dropped almost 50 guided aerial bombs on the Sumy region. In addition, they carried out drone strikes on Kharkiv, the Odesa region, and Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
