Russian drone attacks hit Poltava infrastructure and gas and oil facilities, injure one in Odesa region

On the evening of March 27, the Russian army attacked Poltava with drones. The enemy struck at civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and administrative buildings of oil and gas industry enterprises. As a result of Russian shelling, there is no electricity in some neighborhoods of the city, and fires have broken out over a total area of ​​2,500 sq m. In the Odesa region, one person was injured as a result of a night Russian attack. The Russians also damaged an infrastructure facility and an agricultural enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, Suspilne, the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the State Emergency Service reported this.

Poltava region

Late in the evening, on March 27, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, and local media reported that the sounds of explosions were heard in Poltava. According to the head of the regional military administration, the Poltava community was attacked by Russian drones.

By 10:47 p.m., reports confirmed that enemy drones had struck.

"Russian invaders committed another war crime – using UAVs of the "Shahed" type, they massively attacked Poltava.

They targeted civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and administrative buildings of oil and gas industry enterprises," the regional military administration's report says.

Drones have struck industrial zones within the city.

"After the explosions, there is no electricity supply in some neighborhoods of Poltava," Suspilne reported.

Subsequently, Kohut reported on the damage to the warehouses of one of the enterprises within the Poltava community:

"The enemy launched a massive UAV strike on civilian facilities in industrial zones on the territory of the Poltava community. Air defense forces and means hit some of the targets.

Hits and falling debris damaged the warehouses, administrative building, and transformer of one enterprise at six different locations.

As a result of the attack, fires with a total area of ​​2,500 sq. m. occurred."

The head of the regional military administration reported that as of 4:00 a.m., the fires at all facilities had been extinguished, with no casualties:

"No information about casualties has been received at this time."

A total of:

• 19 units of equipment,
• 90 personnel of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fire.

"The Russian aggressor cynically continues to lie about his aspirations for peace, and continues to attack civilian objects, endangering the civilian population deliberately," the military stated.

The occupiers perpetrate daily war crimes in Ukraine, actions that carry no statute of limitations.

"They are being recorded, documented, and transferred to the relevant international institutions. Punishment is inevitable," the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces noted.

Odesa region

On the night of March 28, explosions echoed in Odesa amid an air raid, following warnings from Ukraine's Air Force about enemy drones moving from the Black Sea toward the city.

As a result of the night Russian attack:

• garage premises,
• a farm building,
• private residential buildings were burned.

The fires were quickly extinguished by State Emergency Service rescuers and the National Guard of Ukraine's fire department.

According to preliminary information, one person was injured.

State Emergency Service psychologists worked with residents.

The State Emergency Service involved five units of equipment and 27 firefighters, and the National Guard involved two units of equipment and eight people.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russians continued to terrorize the Dnipropetrovsk region – on the night of March 28, they damaged:

• an infrastructure facility,
• an agricultural enterprise,
• and infrastructure in several communities.

"The aggressor hit the Vasylkivska community of the Synelnyky district with drones. There is destruction on the territory of an agricultural enterprise.

A UAV attack damaged an infrastructure facility in the Petrykivska community of the Dnipro district," the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, reported on Telegram.

In the Nikopol region, the Russian army attacked with artillery, MLRS "Grad," and kamikaze drones, impacting the communities of Nikopol, Marhanetska, and Pokrovska and damaging infrastructure.

According to Lysak, the East Air Command units destroyed 7 Russian drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

As reported, on the evening of March 27, the Russian invaders also attacked Zaporizhzhia and the region with strike drones, resulting in damage to an infrastructure facility.

On March 26, during the day, the Russian invaders massively shelled the central part of Kherson. Currently, part of the city is left without electricity.

In total, on the night of March 27, the Russian army launched 86 strike UAVs over Ukraine. The enemy also attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh region. Most of the drones were neutralized.
