Over 1,000 young athletes set record at Ukrainian championship with simultaneous kickboxing exercises

The Ukrainian WAKO Kickboxing Championship for children, youth, and juniors took place in Brovary, supported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The event united participants from 23 regions, celebrating sports, unity, and the strength of spirit.

In addition to the competitions, the championship became a place to set a national record within the framework of the #DoLikeOlympians project. 1045 children simultaneously, under the guidance of Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Olesia Bulhakova, performed kickboxing exercises for 10 minutes. The achievement was officially recorded and entered the history of Ukrainian sports. This record confirmed that sport unites and shapes the nation's future.

This championship is not just a competition but a testament to the strength of the Ukrainian youth's spirit. Despite all the difficulties, young athletes continue to train, set records, and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The organizers emphasized that each participant will receive a personalized diploma, symbolizing their contribution to sports development in Ukraine.

Representatives of the World Records Book and competition participants anticipate increased such activities in Ukraine. Each sporting event showcases the resilience of the Ukrainian people and their shared drive for victory.

A unique football championship for individuals sharing the same surname was recently held in Yosypovychi village, Stryi district, Lviv region. Vasyl Levko, a respected local football community member, organized the event on September 29 at the Arena stadium, which was recorded in the Book of Records of Ukraine.

Two-year-old Ania Yakymchuk from the Odesa region set a Ukrainian record as the youngest child to swim 50 meters freestyle, completing it in 3 minutes and 6 seconds. Lana Vietrova, head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, reported that Ania, from Chornomorsk, is now the youngest record holder.
