"Two-year-old Ania Yakymchuk jumped into the pool with such a scream that we already thought of saving her. But it turned out that the girl always had a crazy passion for contact with water. She swims in the adult sports pool and goes to the children's pool just to play.
The child swam what seemed like a great distance for the record with ease. We didn't have to resort to giving them sweets or new toys, a tactic that coaches sometimes use to encourage better swimming skills in young swimmers," Lana Vietrova said.
The girl's coach is Ihor Konstantynov.
According to the National Register of Records head, Ania is already his second little pupil who became a Ukrainian record holder.
