Hospitality Design Awards shortlist two Ukrainian studios

Two Ukrainian architectural studios, YOD Group and Balbek Bureau, have had their designs shortlisted for the International Hospitality Design Awards.
The BZh publication reports this.
Projects from many countries in Europe, Asia, and the USA are competing for the award.
YOD GROUP developed the Mountain Residence hotel project in the village of Polianytsia. It was awarded in the Midscale Hotel Public Space nomination.

The hotel combines modern design trends with the authenticity and nature of the Carpathians.

Wood, vine, wool, ceramics, and reed were used to create the hotel.

At the same time, the interior was supplemented with elements of folk crafts.

The Balbek Bureau project was recognized in the Hybrid Hospitality nomination for the Misto Cafe project in Lutsk.

The space was created as a "third place" for meetings of people with different lifestyles.
The establishment was made in light colors, with many plants and several neon signs.

The Hospitality Design Awards has been recognizing the best architectural projects for 19 years. It is awarded annually by the American publication Hospitality Design Magazine.
Architects Dmytro Volik and Ksenia Donetska developed the Uspenska Square project in Dnipro.
It is worth mentioning that Lviv became the first Ukrainian city to receive the status of the Youth Capital of Europe. From April 3 to 5, an official ceremony, an evening of remembrance, and events for young people from all over the country will be held as part of this event.
It was also reported that Ukrainian artist Pavlo Makov became the laureate of the prestigious international prize "Leonardo Sciascia amateur d'estampes," awarded for outstanding achievements in graphic art. The artist's works will be exhibited in several cities in Italy and then transferred to the collection in Milan.
