IOC selects Ukrainian Oleksandra Boliak as Young Leader 2025-2028

Ukrainian Oleksandra Boliak has joined the Young Leaders of the International Olympic Committee. From 2025 to 2028, she will work on the creation and implementation of innovative projects aimed at developing and popularizing the Olympic movement.
The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine reported this.
This year's selection was competitive: 5,270 young people from 169 countries and territories took part in the first stage. This shows the commitment of young people to achieving positive changes in the world through sport.
Based on the training results, only the best 25 were selected, who, in the coming years, will work on creating and implementing innovative projects to develop the Olympic movement, popularize its values, and solve current social problems.
"We are proud of Oleksandra, rejoice in her achievements, and wish her inspiration, new achievements, and success in building a better world through sport for the benefit of the development of the Olympic movement!" the NOC of Ukraine wrote.

The IOC Young Leaders Programme supported 145 young leaders from 77 countries and territories, who together implemented over 160 projects that positively impacted the lives of over 55,000 people worldwide.
This initiative directly contributes to Olympism365, the IOC's strategy to strengthen the role of sport as a tool for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, providing young people the opportunity to stimulate social change through innovative solutions.
