Russian forces execute six more Ukrainian POWs

A video has surfaced online showing Russian forces shooting six Ukrainian prisoners of war. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets stated that he has promptly reported the incident to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The video, filmed by the Russian military themselves, abruptly ends with a seventh Ukrainian soldier lying on the ground, whose fate remains unknown. The footage depicts Ukrainian prisoners being shot one by one.

One of the Russian soldiers orders the prisoners to "lie down and shut up." And the other, who filmed the video, says: "One is mine" and shoots one of the prisoners himself.

"The Russian army has never been famous for its dignified treatment of prisoners of war, and now it is once again demonstrating its helplessness and criminality," the ombudsman said.

Lubinets stressed that this crime has already been reported to the relevant international organizations.

"The lack of responsibility has turned the crime into a systematic one. We cannot turn a blind eye to this! Ukraine needs justice and responsibility for those who commit crimes and do not adhere to any norms!" the ombudsman stressed.

It should be noted that operators of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's armed forces destroyed and captured Russian occupiers who shot two Territorial Defense Forces fighters.
