Rebuilding Ukraine: Luxembourg offers aid to help restore Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine
Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Oleksii Kuleba, and Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister, Xavier Bethel, signed a memorandum of cooperation to reconstruct the Kryvyi Rih region and the city of Kryvyi Rih.
According to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the document plans to allocate 50 million euros for the project "Supporting the Restoration of the Kryvyi Rih Region."
Luxembourg will provide financial and technical assistance to increase regional stability and further economic development as part of the cooperation.

"In collaboration with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we are embarking on a new phase of cooperation to promote stability in the region and create conditions for the ongoing rebuilding and progress of the Kryvyi Rih region and the city itself," the message reads.
According to Oleksii Kuleba, the support will create:
- new jobs,
- modernize vocational and technical education,
- and contribute to the development of infrastructure.
The project also aims to improve the quality of local governance and create a safe, educational environment for children.

It should be noted that the IT coalition, thanks to Luxembourg and Denmark's contributions, handed Ukraine network equipment and auxiliary licenses worth more than 2 million euros. This equipment will strengthen the power of data processing centers and cyber defense of the Ministry of Defense and Ukraine's armed forces.
