Ministry of Culture pushes for more Ukrainian language in computer games

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy actively adjusts communication with world leaders in the field of computer games and plans to ensure the presence of Ukrainian-language versions of products on the domestic market.

Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Rostyslav Karandeev announced this on the air of the national telethon, writes Open4business.

The official emphasized that he plans to create a global offer for computer game manufacturers.

This offer aims to ensure the availability of Ukrainian-language versions of the most popular games from the largest manufacturers in the Ukrainian market.

"We will soon come out with a global proposal to the world's computer game manufacturers regarding the presence of Ukrainian-language versions of the most popular games of the largest manufacturers for them to enter the Ukrainian market," Karandeev said.

He also mentioned that this market is relatively niche, and communication with developers should not rely solely on traditional methods, especially through one-on-one interactions.
