Since the full-scale war's outset, the Agendum organization has already sent 1640 different types of vehicles to Ukraine, such as SUVs, minibusses, cars, etc. Latvian volunteers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the automotive business find, buy and repair this transport specifically for Ukrainian units.
There have been cases when delivered cars saved the lives of soldiers at the front when needed the most, the embassy states.
Since the first day of the brutal invasion, Latvia has steadfastly supported and will boost the political, economic, military, and humanitarian fields of Ukraine as long as necessary.
Latvia has consistently emphasized that Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty must be restored within its internationally recognized borders. The country will side with Ukraine on the issue of establishing a special tribunal against Russia and its leaders.
The country also conducts training for the Ukrainian military on its territory. Latvia plans to double the number of Ukrainian military personnel who will undergo training on its territory. Latvia has committed itself to training 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers this year.
