Solutions to win: Ukrainian band Druha Rika raises over ₴1.8 mln for country’s intelligence

Together with Diana Podolianchuk Charity Fund, the Ukrainian band Druha Rika delivered UAH 1.8 million to the special unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

What is the problem?

Reconnaissance, artillery fire adjustment, attacks — all this is carried out thanks to drones. In the war with Russia, the availability of drones is vital. Ukrainian defenders' needs constantly grow, so volunteers and state structures fill this niche.

What is the solution?

"The band Druha Rika and its frontman Valerii Kharchyshyn, together with the Diana Podolianchuk Charity Fund, handed over 1,810,006 hryvnias to the special unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," the intelligence said.

How does it work?

Ukrainian musicians raised money for military intelligence during a charity concert tour in Europe organized by the SIVAK.Concert agency team.

During the performances of Druha Ryka, the audience had the opportunity to take part in a charity auction organized by the musicians, where patriotic pictures, keychains from the Kalibr missile, souvenirs from the T80 tank, guitars, ukuleles,  and other lots were raffled off.

As an expression of gratitude for the help that will be used to purchase combat equipment, the special officers of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence presented the musicians of Druha Rika with a state flag signed by the soldiers and a commemorative souvenir from Ukrainian military intelligence.

Rubryka reported that another 1,700 attack and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles were purchased and handed over to Ukrainian defenders at the front as part of the Army of Drones program.

As Rubryka reported, the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine formed an innovative aerial reconnaissance unit, "Hawkeyes."

Norway is also giving Ukraine 1,000 tiny Black Hornet drones for reconnaissance.
