Ukrainian athlete Kokhan wins European Youth Hammer Throwing Championship
Ukrainian athlete Mykhailo Kokhan became the European champion among youth in hammer throwing.
On July 13, Kokhan won the qualification, and today, July 15, with the best personal result of the season, he won "gold" in the final, reports Ukrinform.
He threw the hammer at 77.21 m; his personal absolute record was 80.78 m.
This is Kokhan's second consecutive victory at the European Youth Championship; the first was in 2021.
As reported, this year the 22-year-old Ukrainian also became a silver medalist at the European Games.
