NATO Chief to visit Ukrainian military in UK

On November 9, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg plans to pay a working visit to the UK and attend the training of Ukrainian servicemen.

It is noted that during the trip to Britain, the head of the North Atlantic Alliance will meet with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, and the head of the Foreign Office, James Cleverly.

The Secretary General of NATO and Secretary of Defense, Ben Wallace, will also visit the British military base where the Ukrainian military is trained.

We want to remind you that the training program for the Ukrainian military has been operating in Britain since the summer. Under this program, up to 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen can be trained every 120 days.

In October, training junior commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began in Great Britain.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated earlier that Ukraine is already successfully responding to threats from the air, and help from allies will gradually compensate for old systems and increase protection. He stated this in an interview with the Conflict Zone program on Deutsche Welle.

Jens Stoltenberg said: "I think the weapons we are supplying now are of great importance. The Ukrainians have already succeeded by shooting down many russian missiles and drones. The situation will change in the future; now, the allies are stepping up the support."

Following the Kremlin's statement about Ukraine's preparation to use a "dirty bomb," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called it nonsense.

He said this at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă.

"We see that russia accuses Ukraine of preparing to use radiological 'dirty weapons.' This is absurd. Allies reject these false accusations. russia should not use false pretexts for further escalation of the war," Stoltenberg said.
