Zelensky informed about this on Twitter.

"In constant contact with our strategic partners. Had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. We coordinated further steps on the path of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration," the president noted.

Stoltenberg praised the brave Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces.

"Spoke with President Zelensky and praised the brave Ukrainian people and forces for the impressive progress in regaining their territory from russian aggressors," NATO Secretary General wrote on Twitter.

He added that russia should stop the war it had started, and NATO will strengthen its support for Ukraine as much as necessary.

On September 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal signed an application for Ukraine's accession to NATO under the accelerated procedure. The relevant procedure provides for joining NATO without the MAP.

In this matter, Ukraine is guided by the experience of Finland and Sweden.
