Two Ukrainian universities included into world best in terms of employment rating
The Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" were included in the annual QS World University Rankings.
In particular, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv took place in the range of 301-500, and KPI, according to the rating results, is in 500+ place.
This year's ranking includes 1,300 universities worldwide; 550 universities will be included in the final ranking.
According to the ranking, universities are evaluated according to several indicators:
- assessments and opinions of employers from which universities they are ready to hire specialists (30% of the evaluation);
- achievements of graduates in career, science, philanthropy, and financial capacity after graduation (25% of the evaluation);
- cooperation between the university and business, in particular, publicly available data on joint scientific projects is evaluated (25% of the evaluation);
- the frequency of visits and appearances of employers on the territory of the university (10% of the evaluation);
- graduate employment rate, which measures the number of graduates who received a successful job offer within 12 months of graduation (10% of the grade).
