The russian occupiers are shelling Kharkiv; 7 people are currently known to have died. Authorities are urging everyone to stay in cover.
The Kharkiv regional military administration head, Oleh Sinehubov, reports about it.
"The enemy insidiously fired on Kharkiv. The Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts and Pavlovo Pole district were hit.
Seven civilians were killed, and 17 were injured, including a 9-year-old child. The head of the region urged citizens not to be on the streets without an urgent need. Listen to alarm raid signals and be in shelters," he said.
The UP source in the region's leadership noted that the russians were shooting from the territory of the Belgorod region.
Initially, Sinehubov reported seven wounded and four dead.
The death toll later rose to five, with ten injured, including a child.
Sinehubov added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were chasing the enemy: "Fierce fighting continues in the north, northeast, and Izium. The enemy is suffering heavy losses."
