Kadyrov acknowledges their first dead and wounded fighters in Ukraine
The Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said two of his soldiers had been killed and six wounded in Ukraine.
This was reported by Kadyrov's Telegram.
"Unfortunately, there are already casualties among the natives of the Chechen Republic. Two died and six others were injured to varying degrees," he said.
Kadyrov called on his command to be even tougher "without unnecessary ceremonies," meaning the transition "to large-scale events" and the storming of cities.
Earlier, in the Hostomel region on Saturday, the Ukrainian military defeated a special unit of the Chechen Russian guard. Then General Magomed Tushayev, commander of the 141st Motorized Regiment of the Chechen Russian Guard, was killed.
On February 28, Russian troops fired jet artillery at residential areas of Kharkiv.
