City's municipal and private carriers provide transport for defenders.

As noted, municipal transport is still in operation.
The rolling stock of the city's transport is involved in fulfilling the tasks of the Kyiv central headquarters.
"Metro stations operate in the opening mode only – the train movement is not required.
The hermetic doors on the red line of the metro are closed and only open for additional acceptance of the population. At other stations, the "herma" is open.
"The situation in the metro is controlled by the police. Together with the metro workers, they are currently monitoring the need for food, medicines and warm clothes so that they could provide for people hiding from an enemy attack in the subway," the report says.
The situation in Kyiv is calm, the capital is completely controlled by the Ukrainian army and the territorial defense.
