Ukrainian export is record-breaking for the first time in 10 years
We have a record result of Ukrainian exports in 2021: 68.24 billion dollars!
The Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko wrote about this on her Facebook page.
Ukraine had previous figures of this level in 2011 ($68.39 billion) and in 2012 ($68.81 billion).
"We are also waiting for good news on February 15, when the general foreign trade balance of Ukraine (goods and services) will be announced," the minister stressed.
"For the full year 2021, the turnover of goods alone amounted to 141.54 billion dollars (36.71% more than in 2020). The value of exports in absolute terms increased by 19.05 billion dollars," she said.
Such indicators for Ukraine mean that due to the sale of Ukrainian goods abroad, we receive foreign currency, which allows us to finance import costs and accumulate reserves for economic stability, as well as increase budget revenues.
