Immoral behavior or another opinion? What's wrong with her statements, do they have the right to dismiss her from the university for that, and what do lawyers say?
It all started two weeks ago, when Evheniia Bilchenko, professor of the Department of Culturology, a lecturer at the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University and poet, published a post on the page where she expressed her attitude to the general political situation in the country:
"It's time for me to speak on the sore subject of the language law of January 16. I'm afraid that my opinion will seem too radical, but… My dear ones, what has this obscene law to do with it? The economy, regional and foreign policy, culture and education, medicine are rotting… It's cold in apartments, pockets are empty, tariffs are over the top, students confuse Milan with New York (and New York is a country!), ethno-radicals run the government, external globalist forces run street radicals."
"A misanthropic ideology is flourishing. Xenophobia towards its own population reached its military and civilian climax. Nationalist censorship has taken over not only the media but also science. Civilizational memory is destroyed at all levels…" she writes.
