Ukraine is in a state of emergency: everything you need to know

On February 23, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to declare a state of emergency throughout Ukraine except for Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It has been imposed there since 2014, but martial law may now be imposed. This decision has yet to be approved by the Verkhovna Rada.

Russia has finally decided to bring its aggression to the official level. If in the previous eight years of the war in eastern Ukraine, Russia denied the presence of its troops there, now it has introduced them without hiding. Now Russian military and military equipment are officially in the occupied territories of Ukraine. And along the borders of Ukraine with Russia and Belarus, 150,000 troops and heavy equipment were deployed.
