Just next to the destroyed residential building the volunteers of the charity foundation "There Are No Stranger's Children" set up a support point for everyone who works at the scene – rescuers, police, medicians, volunteers. Here the rescuers can get hot food and drinks, as well as to catch a breath.
Olesya Kuzmenko, a head of the foundation, is also among those who help. The woman says that the point was deployed yesterday, immediately after it became known that the missile had hit a residential building.
"We have been warming up our rescuers, the police and all the people in this closed area all evening, all night and now" Olesya Kuzmenko says.
The foundation has been engaged in the creation of such points since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Therefore, there was no question of whether to go to the scene of the tragedy on January 14.
"We don't leave even for a minute. And no, it's not difficult for us. We see the eyes of people who are really struggling. Their tears, despair, pain and terrible grief. There are still a lot of children and people under the ruins" Olesya says. She also adds: "Our fatigue does not manifest itself in anything at all, it is a meagre amount of things that we can do for our compatriots."
