United to win: Danish boy raises almost €5,000 for Ukrainian children by making blue and yellow Easter chickens

11-year-old Jens from Denmark collected over 34 thousand Danish kroner (nearly 5,000 euros) for children from Ukraine who lost their homes.

The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, and Shotam reported this.

Last year, the boy collected 28 thousand kroner. In 2025, he had already raised six thousand kroner; the KOLO Nordic charity doubled this amount to 12 thousand kroner.

"After watching the news about Ukrainian children losing their homes, the boy asked his mom, "What can we do?" She responded, "Do good!"

At 11, he shows the world that generosity of spirit has no age," the head of the ministry wrote about Jens's desire to help Ukrainian children.

Also, thanks to the Danish Minister of Entrepreneurship, Morten Bødskov, who organized a meeting with Jens and his parents, Yuliia Svyrydenko could thank the boy for his work.
