The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klychko, and the State Emergency Service reported this.
Starting from the evening of March 22 until the very night of March 23, several series of explosions could be heard in Kyiv against the backdrop of the attack of Russian drones on the capital.
"Today, the Russians are once again demonstrating their "desire for peace." In fact, terrorists are simply launching deadly weapons at residential buildings," Tkachenko noted.
Later, it became known that the fall of debris was recorded in five districts.
Dniprovskyi district
As initially reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, an enemy drone hit an apartment building in the Dniprovskyi district.
"Services are heading to the scene. Information about the injured is being established," Tkachenko wrote.
Klychko clarified that the residential building was hit by UAV debris, and a fire broke out on the upper floors. Previously, debris fell on a non-residential construction site in the same district; a fire broke out in a catering establishment.

"Another drone debris fall was recorded in the Dniprovskyi district. The window, floor, and ceiling of one of the apartments were damaged," Tkachenko later reported.
The State Emergency Service reported that in the Dniprovskyi district, responders extinguished a fire covering 100 square meters on the upper floors of a 9-story building, which had spread to the roof.

It was also reported that a woman died, and 27 people were evacuated from the building.

Podilskyi district
Tkachenko noted that a UAV crash was also recorded in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, with preliminary results showing no damage or casualties.

After midnight, Kyiv was once again filled with the sound of explosions.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that air defense was working on enemy targets and Shahed UAVs in the Kyiv region.
Later, it became known that a fire broke out on the 20th floor of an apartment building in the Podilskyi district.
"Podilskyi district: a fire was extinguished on an area of 20 sq.m. on the 20th floor of a 25-story residential building," the State Emergency Service reported.
Holosiivskyi district
Klychko reported that debris from the Shahed drone also fell in the Holosiivskyi district.
"Fall of debris into the industrial zone in the Holosiivskyi district. Preliminary – no casualties," Klychko wrote.
Later, rescuers reported that in this area, the elimination of a fire in a 4-story office and warehouse building on an area of 2,000 sq. m. was continued. The fire of a residential trailer and trucks on an area of 60 sq. m. was extinguished.

Unfortunately, one person died.
Other districts of Kyiv
In total, two people died in Kyiv. Later, Klychko reported seven victims as of 2:00 a.m.
The State Emergency Service noted that information about the consequences of the attack in the affected areas is still being clarified.
At 7:35, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that according to available information, three people died, including a 5-year-old child, and 10 more were injured.
"Among the dead are a father and his little daughter. And the youngest victim of the Russian attack is only 11 months old," they emphasized.
