Solutions to win: nearly $71,000 raised for electronic warfare systems during vertep campaign in Lviv region

In the Lviv region, nearly 3 million UAH (around $71,000) was raised during the "Christmas Birds" campaign to fund electronic warfare systems for Ukrainian defenders.

This was announced by the Lviv Regional Military Administration on Telegram, according to Rubryka.

What is the solution?

On January 11, the "Christmas Birds" campaign was held in the village of Mshanets, Strilkivska community, in the Lviv region.

"Thanks to the event, we have managed to raise nearly 3 million hryvnias as of today.

All funds will be used to purchase electronic warfare (EW) systems to help protect the soldiers of the 80th Separate Galician Airborne Assault Brigade from enemy drones," the Regional Military Administration stated.

How does it work?

The nativity scene event featured:

• Renowned Ukrainian performers.
• Approximately 146 nativity scenes from various parts of Ukraine, including the Lviv region.

The organizers of the event were Father Roman Grom and Father Ivan Galyo, the chaplain of the 80th Separate Galician Airborne Assault Brigade.

It was reported that each participating team received the emblem of the 80th Brigade and a personalized flag signed by the chaplain.

"Thank you to everyone who participated in supporting our soldiers. We are grateful for the incredible atmosphere that filled the Lviv region," the Lviv Regional Military Administration stated in their post.

In Lviv, over 300,000 UAH was raised for equipment for the 80th Separate Galician Airborne Assault Brigade during the charity event "Running with the Steel Lions."

Additionally, on September 29, Kyiv hosted a cycling race and a leisurely bike ride around Trukhaniv Island. This charitable event aimed to raise funds for air defense in the Kyiv region.

Recently, Kyiv also held a charity race featuring American historian Timothy Snyder to support Ukrainian prisoners of war.
