Solutions to win: Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense allows military to use quick-change barrel machine guns in combat

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has officially adopted the North Atlantic Alliance's SAR 762 MT universal machine gun, which has a caliber of 7.62 x 51 mm.

The Ministry of Defense's press service reported that.

As the Ministry of Defense said, this machine gun can be installed on special tripods at combat positions or fire structures and on lightly armored vehicles.

SAR 762 MT has several technological advantages compared to the Pecheneg company machine gun of the aggressor state:

• Firstly, it is equipped with a quick-change barrel, which allows soldiers to conduct almost continuous fire;
• Secondly, the machine gun is equipped with an adjustable gas valve, which makes it possible to change the intensity of fire.

This weapon also has a high life of the case and barrel, which makes it effective in extreme conditions, such as freezing temperatures or tropical climates.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and allowed the Safari HG-105M semi-automatic shotgun to be used in Defense Forces units.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Defense has activated an online artillery training ground designed to train artillery unit specialists.

A team of Ukrainian programmers created this complex as a digital tool to assist in conducting exercises that involve combat calculations for different types of artillery weapons.

Moreover, the Ministry of Defense recently codified and approved the delivery of the "Varan" buggy – a Ukrainian off-road vehicle built for use in highly challenging environments.

Also, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially codified and allowed the use of a new unmanned ground robotic complex called "Tarhan" in Defense Forces units.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense has implemented new standards to ensure the quality of material support items for Ukraine's armed forces. Product samples will now undergo technical inspections and testing using state-of-the-art methods that adhere to international standards.
