Solutions to win: Ukraine’s defense ministry greenlights inclusion of Safari semi-automatic shotgun in army’s arsenal

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the Safari HG-105M semi-automatic shotgun for use in Defense Forces units.

During a confined battle scenario, the rifle serves as a compact firearm and, when equipped with hunting loads, can also double as a weapon against Russian FPV drones.

Safari HG-105M is a semi-automatic shotgun with a gas piston mechanism and a removable magazine.

The gun utilizes bullpup technology, which allows for a shorter overall length without sacrificing barrel length.

This technology enables individuals to shift the center of gravity towards the center of the weapon, alleviating the shooter's strain during extended use.

The weapon is designed to use 12-gauge cartridges with a magazine capacity of five or ten rounds.

The weight of the rifle is slightly more than 4 kg.
