Russian forces bomb children’s recreation facility in Kharkiv

On the night of June 17, the Russian enemy once again attacked Kharkiv. According to local officials, the strike may have involved a guided aerial bomb.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that.

"An explosion was heard in Kharkiv. Information about the location of a guided aerial bomb strike is being clarified – whether it was in a suburban area or on the outskirts of the city," Terekhov initially wrote.

The explosion in Kharkiv occurred around 11:50 p.m.

Before that, the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces reported on the enemy's tactical aviation activity in the north-eastern direction and the potential use of air weapons in frontline areas.

An air raid alert was announced in the Kharkiv region.

According to Oleh Synehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the Russian attack hit the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.

One of the buildings of the recreation complex was damaged. There was no information about the victims.

Afterward, Terekhov stated that the strike in Kharkiv damaged a children's recreation center in the Shevchenkivsky district.
