Solutions from Ukraine: Ukrainian AI startup secures $30,000 investment for risk management issues

The Ukrainian start-up Mantis Analytics, which specializes in risk management, has announced its participation in the Alchemist Accelerator program and secured a $30,000 investment.

Mantis Analytics, a Ukrainian AI start-up for risk management, announced that it has joined the Alchemist Accelerator, one of the largest accelerators for early-stage B2B companies.

"We are only the third Ukrainian startup to get into this accelerator. More than half of Alchemist startups receive significant rounds of funding after the demo day, and many graduates have exited. Although the program has only just begun, we are impressed by the level of speakers and the depth. We are going into this a difficult journey, looking forward to a serious but useful six months," says Maksym Tereshchenko, CEO of Mantis Analytics.

How does it work?

Mantis Analytics is an AI platform for real-time threat detection and response. The platform analyzes large amounts of data and helps companies protect their assets and manage risks.

The startup emerged in 2022 after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine as a volunteer initiative that later transformed into a company.

Benefits from the accelerator:

• Alchemist provides access to an extensive network of mentors, investors, consumers, and alumni from leading corporations, which will help Mantis Analytics accelerate its entry into the US market.
• In addition to the investment, the accelerator will help Mantis Analytics with networking, further fundraising, and knowledge acquisition.
• As of 2020, more than 150 companies from the Alchemist portfolio have received institutional or significant seed investment of at least $500,000, raising a total of more than $1.2 billion in capital.

Mantis Analytics is one of the few Ukrainian startups that got into Alchemist since its inception in 2012.

Another Ukrainian company that completed the accelerator was Esper Bionics, which works in the prosthetics industry.
