Ukraine’s Sumy recorded over 800 explosions from Russian attacks in the past two days

Sumy, a city bordering Russia, recorded 800 explosions over the past two days, which is the six-monthly rate of shelling in the region.

Head of the region Volodymyr Artiukh says Russia has increased usage of guided bombs significantly.

On the night of March 13, Russian forces attacked Sumy with a drone, which hit a five-story residential building. According to preliminary data, 15 apartments were destroyed and 30 were damaged.

Ten people were rescued from the rubble. Rescuers have unblocked the bodies of three dead people. Search operations continue at the site of the tragedy.

On March 14 and 15, the city mourned the victims of the attack.

Several groups of enemy kamikaze drones attacked Ukraine in the north through Kherson and Mykolaiv regions on the night of March 14.

There were hits near TV and radio towers in the Sumy region. The region remains partially without digital television.
