Sweeping Russian attack across Ukraine hits hotel in central Cherkasy, damages several civilian facilities

Several Russian missiles hit central Cherkasy city and western Rivne and Lviv regions on the night of September 21, causing destruction and casualties, says Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

A hotel building was destroyed in Cherkasy as a fire broke out, and many visitors got stuck in debris. Russian missiles also attacked trade pavilions in the central market.

Seven people were injured, and ten people were evacuated. One person was rescued from the rubble. All services are working at the scene.

• In Kyiv, the falling debris caused damage in several districts. The attack injured seven civilians, including a child.
• In the Kyiv region, fires broke out on enterprises' territory in falling debris. There is also damage to the private sector, with two people injured.
• In Kharkiv, a warehouse building was destroyed in an attack. Two people were injured.

In the Lviv region, the enemy attacked an industrial area.

Russians attacked the city around 06:25. They hit an industrial facility twice. A workshop caught fire, a three-story warehouse building was destroyed – the fire covered about 30 square meters, the head of the Lviv military administration emphasized.

On the night of September 21, enemy aircraft from the Caspian Sea fired three groups of missiles at Ukraine. They were moving from the east in a southwestern direction towards the Cherkasy region, from the northern Chernihiv region towards Kyiv, and from the east in the southwestern direction.
