Solution to win: Run Ukraine holds charity race fundraising for national defense

On March 26, the charity run "Day 396: Kyiv Ten of Invincibility" will be held in Kyiv at the Expo Center of Ukraine, which will open the new running season with Run Ukraine.

What is the problem?

The 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – defenders who took part in the liberation of Kherson and are currently working in the Bakhmut direction – are in need of a new pick-up.

What is the solution?

Run Ukraine, an NGO that has held charity races since 2010, offers everyone to participate in a charity race where participation is available offline in Kyiv and online.

"We lived through a year since the beginning of a full-scale war. A year that no one gave us: the world froze in anticipation that Ukraine would fall and capitulate on the third day of the invasion. But the world did not consider that Ukrainians have independence written in their DNA. Invincibility is literally sewn into us!" the organizers say. "This war became the largest in Europe since World War II. And so, on the 396th day of the fight between light and darkness, March 26, Run Ukraine will open the new running season with a charity event. Here is the spirit of Ukraine!"

50% of the profits will go towards purchasing a pickup truck for the mechanized brigade defending Bakhmut.

How does it work?

Race participants can choose a convenient format of participation: online or offline. In addition, participants of the offline race who finish first will receive cash prizes.

The total volume of the fund reaches UAH 24,000. The prize places of both race distances (10 km and 5 km) will be awarded to:

• 1st place with UAH 3,000
• 2nd place with UAH 2000 
• 3rd place with UAH 1,000
