Маски украинского дизайнера вошли в топ-20 самых креативных по версии Forbes

Forbes составил список топ-20 брендов, которые создали креативные защитные маски.

Авторы статьи отмечают, что эти маски не имеют медицинского уровня и не полностью защищают от вируса.

Защитные маски для лица, которые используют, чтобы уменьшить распространение COVID-19, быстро становятся повседневным модным аксессуаром. Многие бренды изготавливают маски с остатков материи, пытаясь сократить отходы и переработку.

В список самых креативных попали и маски украинского бренда Juliya Kros дизайнера Юлии Перекрестовой.

«Используя остатки ткани из двух последних коллекций, дизайнер Юлия Перекрестова выпустила несколько масок для лица в рамках своей коллекции «Save Around». Стремясь побудить людей носить защитное снаряжение, она разработала модные маски для лица, которые дополняют ее одежду. Маски имеют необычные детали, например, застежку-молнию посередине или сетчатую накладку», — говорится в статье.

😷HOW TO WEAR A COTTON MASK😷 1.Wash the mask well with soap and water, and dry before each use 2.Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water 3.Place mask carefully to cover mouth and nose and tie securely to minimize any gaps between the face and the mask 4.While in use, avoid touching the mask 5.Remove the mask by using appropriate technique. Quarantine day 5 -mother of pterodactyls mask During the lock down, as we have limited access to resources, with photographer @anthonylycettphotography we started a project focusing on facemasks. Highly coveted, out of stock, stolen between countries, at the heart of a public health scandal… Useful, not useful. Medical grade, surgical or homemade crafty fabric one… In this new era will a mask become the new indispensable fashion accessory ousting hats or scarves? Compared to eye mask that is supposed to hide your identity what does mouth mask reveal of your persona? The etymology of the word "mask" could come from the Spanish más que la cara (literally, "more than the face" or "added face", Maybe mask like make up or jewellery could bring another dimension to our bare face and tell something of the way we want to present ourselves, as an intimate banner, a personal flag. As costume designer, I have never worked on masks before and I am finding new creative potential from this little surface directly applied on the skin. As they conceal our mouth and emphasise our eyes in a very performative way, they change the whole dynamic of our facial expressions. Placed on the mouth and directly under the eyes "the window of the soul'' they bring new narratives to the face. Another layer of meaning through another layer of fabric. STAY HOME BUT REMEMBER THE HOMELESS R40 from each sale of these limited edition masks will go towards Love Jozi's donation to @mesorgsa's Covid-19 fundraiser. There are only fifteen of these masks available. Each design is different, showing an area of either the Johannesburg or Cape Town city map. While we were fretting over elastics and fabric cut-offs during the first week of lockdown, @mesorgsa were working like crazy to deliver survival services (shelter, protection from weather, food and water) to homeless people. Without these basic necessities that we take for granted (like a roof over our heads), the probability of the virus spreading in our inner-city streets and shelters would have been considerably raised.
