Ukrainian Dozen and Okay Monday Agency sweep awards at 2024 Pentawards for exceptional packaging design
Two Ukrainian companies — Dozen and Okay Monday Agency — received international recognition by winning awards at the prestigious Pentawards 2024 packaging design competition.
Pentawards report this.
Dozen
Ukrainian branding agency Dozen won "gold" in the "Home, recreation and other spheres" category, becoming the first Ukrainian company to win this award since 2015.
Their project for Ukrainian pet food and pet treats manufacturer Suziria Brands — the Half & Half brand — caught the jury's attention with an original positioning and packaging design approach.
Dozen created a name, slogan, packaging design, POS materials, and a complete brand book for them.
The brand concept emphasizes humanizing the relationship between people and animals, where pets are full family members. The design illustrates life scenes, such as a cat on a laptop or a large dog begging for a hug.
The team also selected warm tones for the packaging of cat products and cool tones for dog products, considering the unique vision of dogs who only see blue and yellow, and may mistake purple for blue.
Okay Monday Agency
The marketing agency Okay Monday Agency won a "bronze" in the "Food" category for its work on the ChilMil brand, a Silpo home food delivery network project.
The brand's concept embodies a "relaxed" vibe through the use of the sloth character Baidyk, who has become the brand's main mascot.
The name ChilMil comes from the English words chill and meal, emphasizing the relaxed atmosphere. The design is complemented by a font with rounded shapes and a color scheme inspired by the menu images.
