Bazilik Media reports that Sharity.place is a free message board where anyone can offer or receive help.
What is the problem?
Many Ukrainians had to flee russia's war in Ukraine — shelling, destruction, and occupation — leaving everything behind. Many refugees come abroad even without basic things like clothes, appliances, etc. Ukrainians who lost their homes are building their lives from scratch.
"I myself found myself in a similar situation. We were leaving the Kherson region for Georgia. I had a minimum of things with me. There were three adults in the car, and we could take only the most necessary: documents and some basic things," says Pavlo Chebukin, one of the project's initiators.
What is the solution?
To help Ukrainians who left their homes because of the war and now need the most basic things, Ukrainian refugees launched a Sharity.place platform to help others to receive free aid. One can submit an ad about what one wants to share on the website. And one can also ask for help.
"Share free stuff you don't need with those in need. Things that you no longer use may be useful to those who are in a difficult situation. Share your items or provide free services through our message board," says the website.
How does it work?
In the postings catalog, any Ukrainian person can find clothes, food, and various things and services that people are willing to provide for free. For example, you may come across ads from people who can teach English or babysit children. They want and have the opportunity to help those who really need it.
Just create an account and post a related posting. If you haven't found what you were looking for, create your posting with a request for an item or service that you need.
If you want to support the project, participate in its development, or just offer ideas for improvement, you can write to the project's initiators.
