In 2017, Ukraine began to reform the education system, and in 2019 the number of pilot schools of the New Ukrainian School increased to 143. This step was the first on the way to a reform of introducing modern technologies and methods for teaching in every Ukrainian school. So now the technical competencies of students and teachers are not a privilege but an obligation.
They approved a new State Standard for Basic Secondary Education to involve students and their teachers in the development of technological competencies, which continued the reform of the New Ukrainian School. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine also approved the "Model list of teaching aids and equipment for teaching primary school classrooms." According to it, besides traditional classroom furniture (desks, chairs, blackboards, etc.), the emphasis is primarily on digital equipment. A multimedia projector, a multifunctional printing device, a document camera, and electronic educational resources are just some mandatory equipment of today's Ukrainian school. So now students and teachers have to learn to use the latest techniques to help diversify learning and better absorb and assimilate all the information they need.
