Changing the country through innovation: stories of ambitious projects

Ukrainian innovative projects and startups are not only gaining worldwide recognition but are increasingly the engine of change in the country. Turning an old factory into an innovation center 

Last year, Ivano-Frankivsk became the best city for doing business, according to Forbes. The driver of this process was, in particular, Promprylad. Renovation, an innovation center based on the former Soviet plant "Promprylad." It is a project of rethinking the old space and a unique example of combining business, public sector, and government.

Today, the plant area of 1.8 hectares of land is 38.6 thousand m2 occupied by various development infrastructures. In the restored area there are offices, coworking, workshops, a gallery of contemporary art, schools of non-formal education, and more.
