But why do solid salts and nitrates come across in "purified" water, and why does the limescale appear in the water, and is there a risk of infectious diseases?
On its Facebook page, Kyivvodokanal claims the highest quality of tap water, its purity, and safety for health. The company says that the water supplied by Kyivvodokanal goes through all the necessary stages of purification and disinfection, its quality is constantly monitored by specialists both in the process of water treatment and in the control points of the city network. The quality of tap water corresponds to the current DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10 "Hygienic requirements for drinking water intended for human consumption."
In contrast, one post said that cheap bottled or water on tap is often not properly treated, and producers don't meet the required manufacturing standards and don't have the appropriate permits. Rubryka decided to check whether it's really the case and whether the quality of drinking water can be trusted.
