"No scissors have ever touched my hair": Ukrainian Rapunzel, a record holder, revealed the 2-meter braid secrets
17-year-old Ukrainian Olena Korzeniuk grew her hair over 2 meters long and entered the Guinness Book of Records in Ukraine and around the world. How did she do it and what is her secret?
Olena Korzeniuk is a 17-year-old Ukrainian who entered the Guinness Book of Records at such a young age. She distinguished herself by growing the longest hair not only by Ukrainian standards but also in the world:
"No scissors have ever touched my hair," she says. "I never had a goal/desire to "grow" hair, just had no wish to cut it. I always liked the hair. I agree with the proverb "a girl's braid is a girl's beauty." Everyone has their own tastes, but we always associate a girl with long, luxurious hair. I am very comfortable and feel confident about its length. My parents didn't cut my hair without my wish. They didn't cut my hair when I was 1, although many people have such a tradition. So I grew and my hair grew."
