Best Ukrainian startups: how to get a ticket to Silicon Valley?
Among 12 finalists of the international startup competition, only one participant succeeded
Startup World Cup is an international startup competition. Its main finalist receives $1,000,000. On December 22, the all-Ukrainian startup competition Ukrainian Future Incubator, created on the initiative of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine under the auspices of UNESCO, was held in Kyiv. As a result, one of 12 candidates will go to Silicon Valley. This year, Ukrainians were allowed to participate in a worldwide competition for the first time.
The jury members expect that the projects developed by Ukrainian startups will work for Ukraine, improve the quality of our life, and promote our country in the international arena as an advanced state where innovation is supported. Meanwhile, it's important that the winner's project be something radically new, and not "copy-paste," as one judge put it. In order to present their project, the participants had only 3.5 minutes, and another 3 to answer the jury's questions.
