United by solutions: top 5 projects that strengthen our unity
Unity is not just a word from a textbook on Ukraine's history. This is a philosophy that assumes everyone's responsibility for everyone. And this is the way of life of thousands of Ukrainians, whose actions and ideas unite us all.
On January 22, the Day of Unity, Rubryka talks about five projects that find common ground in Ukraine and remind us of important things. No matter how difficult and disturbing the times, we must remain constructive and preserve our unity.
What is the problem?
And is this a problem at all?
On January 22, 1919, Ukrainian activists signed the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic. Since then, this day has been of historical significance to us. But Ukraine must always remember unity, not just at the end of January.
Having Russia as its neighbor, it is unfortunately impossible to be 100 percent sure that Ukraine will be united. Russia has violated our unity twice already, and now it is concentrating its troops on the Ukrainian border and blackmailing the entire world. Intimidation is a well-known Kremlin tactic. But Ukrainians will not go for it.
