Border blackmail: how Lukashenko turned illegal migration into a weapon in a "hybrid war"

In Poland, for more than two months now, there has been a serious migration crisis, due to which President Andrzej Duda has even declared a state of emergency in the eastern voivodeships. Up to 15,000 migrants from Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and other Middle Eastern countries have gathered in Belarus and are trying to break into the EU.

We explain why the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is actually behind the crisis (he threatened to send migrants to Europe, whom he allegedly detained), what his goal is, whether Poland is really "on the edge" due to the arrival of migrants and how trafficking turned into a "hybrid war."
