In many developed countries, waste sorting has become so common that people don't even think of where it could be different. We have a much poorer situation: there's no separate collection and only a few conscious people try to separate waste at home.
But there are also success stories, for example, the "No Waste Ukraine" project. The project's founder, Yevheniia Aratovska, spoke about what happens to garbage after we throw it in the bin, how to start sorting trash at home, and why sorting is necessary.
