No Bra Day! A reminder that your breasts need care
When was the last time you had your breasts checked? And when did you choose comfort instead of "should"? No Bra Day reminds you that your health needs attention and your breasts need care.
Rubryka asked women how they feel about bras and talked to a mammologist-oncologist about how to choose them correctly… if at all.
"Me! And it's wonderful!"
"Some of my patients can't imagine life without a bra. Some women even sleep in them. They're comfortable, their breasts don't hurt. And there's an absolute opposite. These women wear a bra once for someone's wedding and say that they'll never do it again in their lives," says mammologist-oncologist Vadym Chopyk.
Besides him, I decide to talk to women themselves. Facebook. One of the popular groups. "Write something…" And I write. A few words about the eve of No Bra Day. And the question: "Are there those who refused to wear bras for one reason or another?" On the first day, I received almost 200 comments. One of the first: "Me! And it's wonderful!"
Comfort, condemnation, confidence, shyness, aggression, and a gesture of self-love are associated with such a refusal. Some comments should be here.
