New Year celebration will take place without usual mass festivities due to coronavirus pandemic and in compliance with quarantine rules.

Everyone'll have to come to terms with the fact that this year our Christmas plans will differ slightly from what they were a year ago. And a strict lockdown has finally been decided. From 8 to 24 January, Ukraine will live with toughened quarantine restrictions. "Winter vacation for security," as Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal kindly called this forced event, apparently not wanting to spoil the festive mood of his compatriots.

So it seems, this January, we'll have to spend a lot of time in our four walls. But this doesn't mean that the New Year and Christmas should be spoiled, and that additional "winter holidays" will promise nothing but irritation and boredom. In fact, there are many ways to have fun and feel the holiday atmosphere at home. Turn on your creative abilities to the full volume, come up with interesting pastimes and new traditions, and we'll help you a little, as always.
