French President Emmanuel Macron has decided to reform religious legislation: everything to stop Islamic radicals and unite the French around "freedom, equality, and brotherhood" at the same time.
But something went wrong. Now thousands of offended Muslims are protesting from Tunisia to Bangladesh (and making headlines in the Western media). The Turkish president is insulting Macron and comparing him to the Nazis, and terrorists have become more active in France. We explain what happened.
