Terrible Sunday morning in Kyiv: consequences of the missile attack (photo report)

On the eve of the G7 summit, russia is bombing Ukraine with missiles. This morning, June 26, 4 explosions were heard in Kyiv, an apartment building was hit by an enemy missile. A total of 14 missiles were fired by the russian federation in Kyiv.

The occupiers fired at Kyiv from Tu-95 and Tu-160 planes with X101 missiles, which can fly a distance of up to 5.5 thousand km, said Yuri Ignat, a spokesman for the Armed Forces Air Force Command.

The fighter-bombers took off from Astrakhan. Missiles were launched over the Caspian Sea.

After a series of explosions in Kyiv, residents of two houses were evacuated in the Shevchenkovskiy district of the capital. According to the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, the rocket hit the roof of a 9-floor residential building in Lukyanivska and demolished several upper floors.

Five people were injured in the shelling of a house in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district. A seven-year-old girl was rescued from the rubble of a residential building in the Shevchenkovskiy district. Her mother was also rescued. The father covered the girl and died.

Eyewitnesses are now reporting a second series of explosions in Kyiv. Kyiv citizens are being asked to respond to alarms and go into shelters, especially today.
