"They were waiting for these flights": what we know about the cadets on board of the AN-26
On September 25, at 8:50 p.m., near Chuhuiv city, the AN-26 plane of the A 4104 military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed at a distance of about 2 km from the military airport, followed by a fire. Military pilots and cadets of Ivan Kozhedub Air Force University were on the plane. 27 people were on board. Only one person survived.
There is no official information about the names of the killed in the plane crash in Chuhuiv.
Instead, a preliminary list of names and surnames of the victims is being spread on social networks. Friends remember their classmates and teachers, TSN reports.
Photos of the deceased crew members and cadets are spreading on social networks. Friends and classmates mention them by name. These are 2nd and 4th-year cadets of 133, 153, and 151 groups of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force: Volodymyr Oladyn, Yevhen Skorobahatko, Oleksii Ostapenko, Vitalii Vilkhovyi, Bohdan Matviichuk, Artem Dudla, Andrii Pomerantsev, Maksym Khomiachuk, Roman Korchovraskyi, and Ashraf Msuia.
