Halloween or All Saints' Day is a modern international holiday that began its history in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Since the late 20th century, people have celebrated it in various countries around the world, including even in Ukraine.
This holiday is characterized by dressing up in scary carnival costumes, trick-or-treating for candies, and various attractions in order to scare each other.
The most famous symbol of Halloween is "Jack's Lantern" (a pumpkin lantern with a carved face), which originates from the legend about a drunkard Jack who deceived the Devil but couldn't get to Paradise. So now he wanders the Earth with a pumpkin lantern with hellfire ember. The pumpkin itself is a symbol of the autumn harvest.
Like every holiday, Halloween is not without a feast. The team of the "Eat Healthy" campaign has collected the best recipes for terribly tasty plant-based dishes that will be the gem of your party and will pleasantly surprise (i.e. scare) your guests.
